Director of Bahrain International Airport Police Directorate of the General Directorate of Ports Security Colonel Daij Isa Al Kuwari, took part in a symposium on the ICAO Traveller Identification Programme (TRIP), which was held in Montreal, Canada.
New technological opportunities to improve passenger identification were reviewed, in addition to topics related to policies, strategic steps, and best practices to enable the successful application and better use of traveler identification tools at airports were reviewed.
Several topics were also reviewed, including recent developments in the field of passenger identification, such as biometric measurements and their use in identifying travelers, in addition to the new passenger data reader devices.
