Chief of Public Security attends the end of the Police Open Futsal Championship

Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, has attended the end of the Police Open Futsal Championship of the Public Security Sports Association. The General Directorate of Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing team defeated the General Directorate of Traffic team. 

The Chief hailed the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to provide all requirements to organise distinguished sports activities per his support to sports and athletes in all Interior Ministry teams. He said that such support led to various sports achievements by the Interior Ministry. 

He valued the performance and competitive spirit of the championship teams and thanked the association for its contributions to the event's success.

The President of the Association, Col. Khalid Al Khayat, thanked the Chief for attending the final ceremony and for his ongoing support of sports activities. 

At the end of the event, the Chief handed the trophy to the winning team and medals to players. He honoured the team of the Northern Governorate Police Directorate for winning the Open Police Volleyball Championship 2023 and the Special Security Force team for winning second place. He wished them the best.
