A delegation of women police took part in the 60th International Women’s Police Conference, which is held from September 17 to 21 in the city of Auckland, New Zealand.
The participation comes to highlight the role of Bahraini women in all fields of police work, which is important in maintaining security and preserving the society, in addition to the keenness to enhance cooperation and coordination and exchange expertise in the field of empowering women and contributing to their performance of various tasks and duties.
The conference, which is organised by the International Women Police Association, began its work by organising a military march for all participating countries. A number of workshops were also held that discussed the most important practical aspects of advancement in police work, such as strategic leadership and training, in addition to reviewing countries’ experiences in the areas of women’s police work.
