The Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) has held, in cooperation with the Labour Market Regulatory Authority and Capital Governorate Police Directorate inspection campaigns. The campaigns aimed to inspect workers' adherence to the residency rules and regulations and observe violations or illegal activities. Several violators were arrested and legal proceedings are being taken.
The NPRA said the campaigns were part of ongoing efforts to tackle violations in cooperation with concerned authorities. It highlighted the importance of the support of members of society by reporting complaints and violations by illegal workers by calling 17077077 or sending emails to info@npra.gov.bh
