A delegation from the Crime Against Children Combating Unit of the International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol) has visited the Children Cyberspace Protection Unit of the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security.
The delegation was briefed on the unit’s work mechanism and its efforts to educate children about the dangers of the Internet. It also reviewed the unit’s plans and strategies based on fundamental principles for protecting children. Both sides discussed cooperation and coordination.
