The maritime patrols of the Coast Guard rescued two individuals after their boat broke down in the middle of the sea in the Maritime “Kharab” area of north Bahrain. After the Maritime Operation Centre received a call, the patrols rushed to the scene, assisted them, fixed the boat's fault and accompanied the boat to shore.
The Coast Guard calls on seafarers to follow the weather report and register at marine checkpoints when sailing, with the necessity of providing security and safety equipment on boats and fishing vessels and operating the automatic identification device when sailing.
