Jordanian Director of Public Security, Major-General AbeidAllah Maaitah, has visited, in the presence of Deputy Chief of Public Security, Major-General Dr Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, several Interior Ministry Directorates.
He visited the National Cyber Security Centre, General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security and Special Security Force Command.
The Jordanian official and the accompanying delegation were briefed by the CEO of the National Cyber Security Centre, Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, about the centre’s goals, including protecting Bahrain’s information technology infrastructure and information assets at the national level to ensure the continuation of services.
During the visit to the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security, Director-General Brigadier Bassam Al Miraj highlighted the directorate’s role in protecting integrity, countering corruption and promoting the integrity and transparency values among society members.
During the visit to the Special Security Force Command, the delegation was received by Brigadier Waleed Al Shamsi and briefed on the force’s training and readiness.
