General Directorate of Civil Defence visits schools and kindergartens

The General Directorate of Civil Defence visited, in coordination with the Education Ministry, government and private schools and kindergartens. The field visits aimed to promote the safety of students and administration and faculty teams to promote community partnerships. The civil defence delivered lectures on school safety, fire risks and firefighting. Students were taught how to use fire extinguishers, evacuation and first aid. Awareness publications were distributed.   

The civil defence held 690 lectures at schools in 2022 to enhance safety awareness.
