The Interior Ministry and Social Development Ministry have launched an e-connectivity project to support families of inmates registered in the social assistance database and meet the criteria. The launching ceremony was held at the Public Security Officers Club in the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Organisation of the Interior Minister, Mashael bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Assistant Undersecretary for Community Development of the Social Development Ministry, Enas Mohamed Al-Majed and Director-General of Reformation and Rehabilitation, Brigadier Abdulsalam Al Oraifi.
The Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Organisation said that the project that connects both ministries is a humanitarian and social project to facilitate the registration procedures and provide social assistance to inmates’ families to ensure them a decent living. She affirmed the dedication of the Interior Ministry to implement more steps and programmes to promote cooperation with different concerned authorities.
