The Interior Ministry team for sailing yachts achieved advanced positions in the International Police Boat Championship held from October 1 to 6 in Croatia with the participation of nine teams.
Public Security Sports Association president, Col. Khalid Al Khayat, hailed the professionalism and performance of the team. He congratulated the team members for the accomplishment. He said that the milestone was achieved because of the support and instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to enhance the performance of all ministry’s sports teams.
He pointed out that the team was able to achieve first place in the compass race, second place in the tactical race, and second place in the overall race.
