Director-General of Traffic Brigadier Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa asserted that more than 36,000 government and private school and kindergarten students have benefited from the awareness projects held in the last two academic years in cooperation with the Ministry of Education.
He said the directorate resumed awareness projects for students with lectures to enhance their traffic safety awareness.
He thanked parents, the Education Ministry, community police, security leadership and partners in the government and private sector for their cooperation in protecting the road safety of children, which is a top priority in traffic work.
