Deputy Northern Governor holds community partnership meetings

Deputy Northern Governor, Colonel Abdullah Ali Al-Muantar, held a number of different meetings and visits in order to reinforce the principle of community partnership. 

The Deputy Northern Governor visited the Abdul Rahman Kanoo Parent Club in Hamad Town and was received by Mr. Yousef Al Mahmeed, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and a number of the club’s members. During the visit, he praised the services provided by the centre that is in the interest of serving senior citizens and occupying their free time, stressing that the club’s goals are in line with the healthy cities programme that the governorate is keen to implement, indicating that the governorate continues to cooperate with the club to organize various programmes and events, especially on national occasions.

 During a ceremony organised by the governorate, the Deputy Northern Governor honoured a number of outstanding teachers, as well as a number of retired teachers and school principals who had an educational imprint in the schools of the Northern Governorate.
