Director-General of Traffic, Brigadier Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa, asserted that the winning of the eTraffic App of the best smartphone app as part of the e-Government Excellence Award is an achievement as part of the support of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. He said that the support contributes to the ongoing development of traffic information technology services, and it is part of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the digital transformation directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The Director-General said that per the instructions of HE Interior Minister, the General Directorate continues to support the national digital transformation process in cooperation with the Information and eGovernment Authority to provide better services for citizens and residents.
