Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Organisation Shaikha Mashael bint Khalifa Al Khalifa asserted that the winning of “police wallet” application as part of the e-Government Excellence Award is an achievement as part of the support of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to adopt modern digital technologies in order to enhance the police work and enhance the level of efficiency.
Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Organisation pointed out to that the application was designed and developed by Directorate of Information Technology and provided multi- services for the Police in order to facilitate their job and enhance their performance, which could be achieved by the provision of statistics and indicators regarding the security status including the immediate update in “Najim” system.
Also, she asserted on the importance of the application in achieving the optimal use of modern technology in security, which would contribute in improving the quality of security services and increase its speed.
