The Training Directorate and the Joint Counterterrorism Centre have concluded a training on dark web investigation. Held in coordination with the United States Embassy, the training covered the Interior Ministry’s affiliates.
The Director-General of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security, Brigadier Bassam Al Miraj, asserted the importance of the training to enhance the participants' skills to reach websites on the dark web that terrorists use on the internet. He continued that the course was an opportunity to learn new investigation capabilities.
The course covered several topics, including the whole terminology of the dark web, the methods used by criminals and terrorists to complete their suspicious deals, ways to combat-related risks, and the precautions that must be taken while browsing.
In the end, the Director-General honoured the participants and wished them all the best.
