More than 200 women participated in the Pink Month Marathon hosted by the Capital Governorate in cooperation with the Sitra Cultural and Sports Club, and the AMT Group, Bahrain.
The marathon was accompanied by an awareness exhibition on early detection of breast cancer as well as solidarity with all patients, which represents the image of Bahrain as a united society and aligns with the global campaign.
Director of Information and follow-up at the governorate Yousif Yaqoob Lori praised the initiative of the Sitra Cultural and Sports Club and the AMT Group in raising awareness of care for individuals' health, adding that the Capital Governorate is looking forward to supporting breast cancer awareness month through a number of activities.
