The General Directorate of Civil Defence has held a coordination meeting to discuss rainy season preparation plans in the presence of representatives from the Works Ministry, governorates and Interior Ministry’s directorates.
The emergency team of the Works Ministry has highlighted the preparation plan, contact numbers, responsibilities and duties. It stressed the importance of coordination and cooperation between all relevant authorities. The meeting reviewed holding awareness campaigns to highlight preventative procedures and the allocation of a hotline about rainwater gathering areas.
