Officers’ Club organises an event

In an implementation of the initiatives of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Value of Citizenship (Bahrainouna), the Officer's Club organised the “Little Archaeologist” event in cooperation with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities at the Bahrain Fort site. A total of 100 children participated in the event.  

The event included several workshops aimed at introducing children to archaeology through an enjoyable and useful method, which contributes to their awareness of national heritage and culture. Director of Antiquities and Museums Dr. Salman Ahmed. Al-Mahari gave a speech on archaeology and excavation. The event also included a workshop on the restoration of the archaeological excavation, basket making and pottery, in which the children learned about crafts.
