The Sustainable Development Team at the Ministry of Interior took part in the 9th Global Conference on Statistical Data and Metadata Exchange (SDMX).
Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Organisation confirmed that participation in the conference comes within the strategy of the Interior Ministry to develop its capabilities and expand the use of modern technological means and smart solutions through exchanging expertise, developing the services provided and reinforcing community partnership mechanisms.
On the sidelines of the conference, the Sustainable Development Team at the Ministry of Interior participated in the workshops accompanying the conference.
The Global Conference is an event for the official statistics community around the world to exchange information on recent and upcoming developments of the SDMX initiative, which is co-organised by the sponsors of the SDMX initiative and the Bahrain Information and e-Government Authority with the support of ESCWA and the Bank of Italy. The conference hosts statistics users from national, regional and international agencies.
