Customs Affairs conducts a workshop

Customs Affairs held in association with the World Customs Organization (WCO) a workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Data Analysis for Bahrain Customs. A total of 30 individuals from Customs Affairs participated.  

The workshop aims to introduce the participants to the basics and benefits of analysing data, providing an introduction to WCO BACUDA and analysing its data, in addition to introducing and managing the data strategy of the WCO.   

Director of BACUDA Project at the Capacity Building Directorate of the WCO, MR Hongik Kang asserted in his speech on the power of data science that has become a powerful tool for governments in identifying problems, formulating policies and evaluating their impacts. 

The Customs Affairs highlighted the importance of holding such workshops in developing the customs workflow, making the most of it and applying it in customs work.
