Assistant Chief of Public Security for Community Affairs, Col. Ammar Al Sayed, has met the Chairman of the US-based ROI Institute, Dr. Jack J. Phillips. The Director of Crime Prevention and Maan (together) programme against violence and addiction, Ali Ameeni, attended.
The Assistant Chief welcomed the official and highlighted the international and local accomplishments of the Interior Ministry per the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa by adopting the latest police systems and standards.
The US official said that the Directorate won the ROI award in 2019, and the Maan programme won its award in 2022, reflecting the professionalism and high performance of the work teams.
Both sides reviewed cooperation and agreed to conduct two research studies, one by the institute and the second by the ministry, along with a comparison study to evaluate the efficiency of the findings.
