Assistant Chief of Public Security for Community Affairs Colonel Ammar Al Sayed received the Chairperson of Bahrain Statistical Society (BSS) Mr Jalal Nasser. Joint cooperation and coordination were discussed. Director of Crime Prevention Mr Ali Ahmed Amini and a number of the society members attended the meeting.
Colonel Ammar Al Sayed highlighted the role of the Crime Prevention Directorate in achieving the principle of community partnership, asserting the keenness of the Chief of Public Security to adopt modern concepts to reach all segments of society by relying on scientific systems in research, studies, training programmes and statistics, in order to enhance the responsibilities of individuals and to create a security environment that is consistent with the goals of sustainable development.
The Chairperson of BSS hailed the role of the Interior Ministry in adopting modern and scientific systems and software to develop security work. Also, he explained several models in the field of statistics, analysing individual characteristics and methods of preparing strategies based on facts and data which comply with the Ministry’s vision and are in line with the international standards for statistics and analysis.
