Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science has arrested six individuals aged 29-37 in three cases. Quantities of narcotic substances and various psychotropic substances worth more than BD32,000.
An investigation into received information led to identifying and arresting the suspects and the narcotics were seized from them. Legal proceedings were taken and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution.
The directorate calls upon citizens and residents to report complaints, observations and assistance through the anti-drug hotline 996 to promote community partnership. Confidentiality is protected.
