Chief of Public Security Lt. General Tariq bin Hasan Al Hasan received a delegation from the National Lead, UK Border Force Safeguarding and Modern Slavery. Present were the Director-General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science and the Head of Cyberspace Child Protection Unit.
The Chief of Public Security welcomed the delegation, highlighting the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to establish the rules of equality and promote human rights for all citizens and residents without discrimination, noting the ongoing efforts of all parties in the Kingdom of Bahrain, especially the Ministry of Interior.
Chief of Public Security pointed to the qualitative achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of combating trafficking in persons, represented by achieving the first category of countries most successful in combating trafficking in persons over a period of six years, according to the report of the US Department of State. He stressed that this global
recognition enhances Bahrain’s international standing and its pioneering role in combating the trafficking in persons in coordination with the concerned authorities.
Subjects of cooperation and exchange of expertise and topics of common interest were discussed.
