Child Protection in Cyberspace Unit took part in the discussion workshop with a research paper “Violence against children”. The workshop was organised by the Child Protection Centre of the Ministry of Social Development.
The research paper included methods of electronic violence to which children are exposed through social media, in addition to methods of intellectual invasion through electronic games. Parents were also introduced to ways of protecting their children through immediate communication with the unit via personal attendance, calling the hotline 992, or the unit’s e-mail.
This participation comes within a series of activities and lectures launched by the unit to clarify the types of violations and risks that children are exposed to through their presence in cyberspace.
