National Cybersecurity Centre CEO HE Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa signed a cooperation framework in cybersecurity with the President of the University of Bahrain UOB at the conclusion of the second Arab International Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition (AICS 2023) held at Exhibition World Bahrain.
The framework aimed to activate cooperation between the two sides in the fields of creating and launching awareness programmes in cybersecurity, holding seminars and training programmes for students, in addition to preparing specialised and advanced programmes to qualify national cadres.
The framework also targeted faculty members specialised in information security, information systems and technology, or cybersecurity through the provision of specialised training courses to keep in pace with the development in this field. Additionally, the framework would contribute to scientific research preparation, providing practical experience for cybersecurity graduates.
