Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, has chaired the meeting of the Royal Academy of Police (RAP) Scientific Council. Deputy Chief of Public Security, Major-General Dr Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, RAP Commander, Brigadier Fawaz Al Hassan and the council members attended.
The Chief of Public Security expressed thanks and appreciation to His Excellency Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, for his ongoing support to the council and wise directives to develop scientific and training programmes to meet the security changes and challenges.
He asserted the council’s dedication to achieving excellence and enhancing performance through developing academic programmes and studies.
The council discussed a number of topics on the agenda, including a review of the educational system and the mechanism of the new academic programmes, in addition to training courses such as training for RAP lecturers.
The Chief thanked the members of the Council and the administrative and training staff of the Academy, wishing everyone success.
