Deputy Director-General of Traffic Brigadier Mohammed Ali Al Darraj has announced the plans for the New Year celebrations to ensure traffic safety.
The plans were arranged due to the expected traffic rush in different areas in Bahrain that host various celebrations.
These include deployment in all governorates, especially at main junctions and roads with heavy traffic near celebration areas.
He urged road users to follow traffic rules, including avoiding wrong parking, ensuring the safety of children by not leaving them alone, giving way to pedestrians and focusing on driving.
