The General Directorate of Civil Defence, Brigadier Ali Al Kubaisi, said that the General Directorate of Civil Defence has dealt with 14,542 cases in 2023.
He said that a comprehensive media strategy was planned in cooperation with official authorities and NGOs to enhance general safety awareness. The General Directorate offered 1,301 training and inspection programmes last year for 16,755 citizens and residents.
He pointed out that the civil defence teams carried out 684 awareness campaigns last year, which included the camping season, labour accommodations, the scrap area and fuel stations.
