Deputy Chief of Public Security opens a course

Deputy Chief of Public Security Major General Dr Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa opened a training course on using artificial intelligence tools in investigations into crimes of electronic sexual exploitation of children, which was organised by Cyberspace Child Protection Unit in association with (AI for Safer Children). Competent MOI directorates and specialised Arab officers took part.  

Deputy Chief of Public Security welcomed the attendees asserting the importance of the course held in the implementation of the directives of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa to benefit from successful experiences in the child protection field.    

He clarified that the course aimed to enhance professional awareness and competence to perform duties and combat crimes within the framework of the joint efforts to implement the National Strategy for Child Protection in Cyberspace (2023-2026), which aims to spread the safe use of the Internet.
