Northern Governor, Ali bin Shaikh Abdulhussain Al Asfoor, held a periodic meeting with officials to discuss issues related to the requirements for the governorate’s upcoming programmes and activities.
He asserted that the Northern Governorate is in the process of developing a host of sports and health activities to celebrate Bahrain Sports Day scheduled to be held next month at Aali Walkway, noting the importance of linking these various activities with efforts to promote the Healthy Cities Programme to achieve the Northern Governorate’s accreditation as a healthy governorate.
During the meeting, they discussed the governorate’s work to restore and maintain several homes for needy families before the holy month of Ramadan within the charitable Beyoot (houses) projects.
