The weekly award of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, continues to allocate weekly cash prizes for the best camp for the 2023-2024 camping season. His Highness Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has honoured the two winners of the best camp award of the eleventh- week of the camping season in the presence of Deputy Southern Governor Colonel Hamad Mohammed Abdullah Al Khayyat and a number of security directorates officers and officials in the Southern Governorate.
On this occasion, HH the Southern Governor extended his profound thanks and gratitude to His Highness Shaikh Nasser for the initiative, which raised awareness among campers to follow security and environment protection rules, noting that the award would continue every week until the end of the season on 29 February 2024, as the award has been well received by the campers, reflecting HH Shaikh Nasser desire to see the success of the camping season. Those wishing to participate in the award should download the Southern Governorate app, select the (Tents) initiative, and complete the participation form.
HH the Southern Governor said that the award’s organising committee had previously visited several camps to ensure that they met the security, organisational and environmental standards, which are the requirements that participants must adhere to be eligible for the prize.
