The Chief of Public Security and Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Royal Academy of Police, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, has received Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research and Enterprise at the University of Huddersfield and the Director of the Scientific Research Project of the University, Dr Mustafa Al Qadhi. Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources, Major-General Adel Ameen and Director-General of Civil Defence, Brigadier Ali Al Kubaisi, attended.
The Chief welcomed the officials, hailing the partnership between RAP and the University to provide scientific security programmes, workshops and training courses as part of the directives of His Excellency Interior Minister to promote human resources and performance. Both sides reviewed cooperation and plan to enhance academic work and scientific research and the introduction of a master's degree in artificial intelligence, emergency planning, and crisis management, in addition to research on enhancing cooperation in scientific research and PhD programmes at the Royal Academy of Police.
