His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister along with Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received a cable of congratulations on Monday from the Northern Governor, Ali bin Shaikh Abdulhussain Al Asfoor on the 56th anniversary of the establishment of the Bahrain Defence Force.
This came during the governorate’s weekly consultative council meeting, the Northern Governor commended the progress and modernisation of this National organisation over the past 56 years.
The governorate's plan to adopt the Northern governorate as a healthy governorate was reviewed during the meeting. It involved attaching the indicators to the profile file and linking the goals to the standards. This allowed for the approval of the measurement in the event that the plan was implemented before being presented to the Healthy Cities Programme's Supreme Committee.
