His Highness Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa chaired the first Security Committee meeting in 2024 in the presence of Deputy Governor Brigadier Hamad Mohammed Al Khayyat and several officers from the Ministry of Interior.
He affirmed the governorate’s keenness to implement the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, providing all security services and programmes that meet the needs of the people.
He also emphasised the role of the security directorates in following up and organising the camping season by strengthening efforts to promote security awareness.
HH the Governor also praised the role of cooperation with the Ministry of Interior's Human Resource Directorate in raising the level of environmental awareness and community partnership. He also recommended continuing awareness programmes to enhance safety, coinciding with the approaching World Civil Defence Day.
