Richard Gasquet, the 5th classifier in the Ministry of Interior Bahrain Tennis Challenger, expressed his happiness at winning his first match yesterday over Swiss player Marc-Andrea Hessler in two sets, 6/3 and 6/4.
Gasquet pointed out that he always focuses on winning while enjoying high physical fitness and implementing well-thought-out plans and tactics. Gasquet said: “The organisation of this tournament is very ideal and the courts of the Public Security Officers Club are very equipped, and the tournament organisers are cooperative. They provide all the facilities to the players.”
In a related context, French player Laurent Lokoli, who reached the second qualifier, indicated that he is ready for his next match, in which he will meet the third seed in the tournament, Czech Vit Kopriva, adding that he underwent serious physical and mental training in preparation for the match. Regarding the experience of visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain, he indicated: “It is my first time, and the weather is generally beautiful and warm, and the organisation of the tournament is very wonderful.”
For his part, the Swedish doubles tennis players Philipp Bergevi and Mick Felder indicated that they felt comfortable on their first visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain and that the tournament's organisation is distinguished in all aspects. Regarding their preparation for the matches, the two players confirmed that they had developed a specific plan for the playing strategy and preparation to meet the competitors and provide a distinguished performance to make the audience enjoy watching them in the match.
