On the 3rd day of MOI Bahrain Tennis Challengers, first, third and eighth seeds eliminated

The third day of the Ministry of Interior Bahrain Tennis Challenger, held on the Public Security Officers Club courts from February 11 to 17, witnessed tough competition among the players in round 32. It included the elimination of the first seed in the tournament, the Australian Christopher O’Connell, after losing 6/7 to the British Billy Harris, and the Australian withdrew from the match due to injury.
In the second match, the Tunisian Aziz Dougaz defeated the German Rudolf Molleker with a score of 6/3 and 6/1. Meanwhile, Damir Dzumhur from the Bahamas defeated the Italian Alessandro Giannessi with scores of 6/3 and 6/1. The Argentina Marco Trungelliti also defeated the Serbian Lukas Klein in the fourth match with a score of 6/4, 3/6 and 6/3, and the Italian Peter Buldorini won the fifth match over the British Ryan Benston after the latter withdrew due to injury. The Bulgarian Adrian Andreev won over the Finnish Otto Virtanen, scoring 6/1 and 6/ 2.
In the seventh match, Bahraini Yousef Qaed was eliminated from the competition after being defeated by the Italian Fabio Fognini, the second seed in the tournament, with scores of 6/1 and 6/1. The Kazakhstani Mikhail Kukushkin also defeated the Czech Dalibor Svrcina with a score of 6/2 and 6/2, and Nerman Fatic from Bahamas defeated the Portuguese Goncalo Oliveira with a score of 7/6 and 7/6.
The Jordanian Abdullah Shelbayh defeated the Czech Jozef Kovalik with a score of 7/6 and 6/3. Alexander Richard also defeated the eighth seed in the tournament, Elias Ymer, with a score of 6/2 and 6/4, and the Portuguese Gastao Elias defeated the Turkish Cem İlkel in a match that exceeded two hours, in which the scores were 3/6, 6/1, and 7/6.
The French, Laurent Lokoli, achieved a victory over the third-seeded Vit Kopriva with a score of 6/1, 6/4. The fourth seed in the tournament, Jakub Mensik, also defeated the player Nikoloz Basilashvili from Georgia with scores of 6/3 and 6/4. As for the last match, Daniel Rincon defeated Norwegian Viktor Durasovic with a score of 6/4, 6/1 and 7/5.
The tournament continues on Wednesday through eight matches within the round of sixteen in singles category and 7 matches in the doubles category.
