The Coast Guard continues to hold inspection campaigns in various maritime areas in cooperation with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs and the Labour Market Regulatory Authority. The campaigns aim to ensure fishermen adhere to fishing and other regulating laws and rules, the validity of fishing licences for various small boats and the availability and validity of safety tools.
The Coast Guard calls upon seafarers to follow rules and regulations to protect maritime wealth and wildlife.
