Officials and attendees hail the success of MOI Bahrain Tennis Challenger

The Minister of Youth Affairs, Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi hailed the role of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa in promoting Bahrain as a hosting destination of international sports. She also commended the success of the Ministry of Interior Bahrain Tennis Challenger through excellent organisation and the participation of top Bahraini and international players. 

She thanked the tournament general supervisor, Shaikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Khalifa, for providing all the facilities for the event's success.

Meanwhile, Kuwait Finance House Bahrain (KFH) Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Abdul Hakeem Al Khayyat said that the tournament marked another year of this prestigious event for being one of the best tennis competitions in the region. 

He added:  "This tournament, held under the patronage of HEthe Minister of Interior, attracted international athletes once again and the general public in Bahrain. Undoubtedly, the Ministry of Interior's commitment to such a tournament reflects its tireless efforts to support sports in Bahrain. 

Member of the Bahrain Tennis Club, Faisal Radhi Al-Mousawi, expressed his happiness for attending the final match, which was of a high standard, offering his thanks to the Ministry of Interior, headed by HE the Minister of Interior, for hosting and organising this distinguished tournament and for providing the public with the opportunity to watch the tennis stars participating in this world tournament in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He hoped that it would be held in the coming times.

General Manager of Fakhro BYD, Santosh Antony, one of the tournament's sponsors, stressed that the game is distinguished and of a high standard, describing the tournament’s competitions as very strong and enjoyable. He explained that as a car brand, the company is following a go-green approach by reducing carbon footprint, and we will continue to contribute and attend this fantastic tournament.

Manager of Porsche in Bahrain, Tim Price, General, also praised the organisation of this most wonderful tournament, praising the cooperation of all those working in this tournament since its launch. He pointed out that there is a common societal vision between Porsche in Bahrain and the Ministry of Interior, as Porsche cars are one of the official sponsors. For this tournament, Porsche is participating with an electric car model to support the environment.
