The Director-General of Traffic, Brigadier Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa, affirmed on Wednesday that all organisational steps had been taken to ensure the success of the Bahrain Grand Prix (Formula 1).
He said that the arrangements were part of the Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa's instructions. The steps would take into consideration traffic flow from and to the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC).
He said there would be heavy traffic deployments throughout the days of the race. There will be direct services to deal with traffic accidents and to cope with any changes.
