Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, has attended a graduation ceremony for several training courses held at the Maritime Training Wing of the Coast Guard. The courses targeted personnel from the Interior Ministry, Bahrain Defence Force and National Guard Presidency, and participants from the United Arab Emirates and Oman Coast Guard.
On this occasion, the Chief praised the level and performance of the graduates, explaining that these courses are considered a significant part of enhancing the workforce's skills to meet technological development and security challenges, especially matters related to the maritime environment and the protection of regional waters. He thanked the Coast Guard and security directorates for their contributions toward the success of the courses.
Meanwhile, the Coast Guard Commander, Brigadier Jassim Al Ghattam, highlighted that the courses included orientation and advanced diving, sea captain, swimming and English language training, and they aim to enhance maritime safety.
At the end of the ceremony, the Chief distributed police insignia for the diving course and certificates among the graduates.
