His Highness Southern Governor, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, received the “ISO 9001:2015” certificate for the quality management system for the period from 2024 to 2027, marking a new milestone for the Southern Governorate. The certificate-handing ceremony was attended by the Deputy Governor, Brigadier Hamad Al Khayyat, and several officials in the governorate.
He attributed the achievement to the support of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to raise the efficiency of administrative work in line with the development and modernisation of comprehensive quality management for all directorates and divisions of the governorate and keeping pace with the aspirations of the government’s action plan.
HH the Southern Governor also confirmed that the governorate’s obtaining this certificate aligns with the governorate’s vision and strategy in obtaining international certificates. He praised the efforts of the governorate’s employees and the great administrative role they play in achieving the desired development goals. He also praised the efforts of the Strategic Planning Directorate.
