The General Directorate of Civil Defence organises the 3rd edition of the Civil Defence Challenge under the slogan “Innovative Technologies in the Service of Civil Defense” from March 3 to 7 at the Water Garden City.
The Civil Defence Personnel Challenge Championship includes two main categories. The first category consists of 25 teams from firefighting companies and civil defence in Bahrain, while the second category consists of 300 amateurs. This championship aims to create sportsmanship for all competitors and participants, in addition to training them in swift response and introducing them to the nature of the civil defence operations and the nature of the efforts made.
On the sidelines of the event, the Civil Defence allocated a platform to showcase services the directorates’ services in addition to reviewing the latest equipment and services, highlighting the importance of the National Civil Protection Platform in enhancing awareness of public safety procedures.
