Qualifiers for the sixth Ministry of Interior Holy Qur’an Competition organised by the General Directorate of Guards were launched per the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
Director of General Guards Colonel Faisal Mohsen Al-Arjani, indicated that the qualifiers witnessed a remarkable turnout by the Ministry’s employees and others to participate in it due to the continuous support of His Excellency Interior Minister and the follow-up of Chief of Public Security. The number of participants reached 210 from various Categories. He explained that this version was distinguished by the creation of two branches, the first for beneficiaries of Alternative Sentencing and Open Prisons, in addition to a branch for the children of Ministry employees, and other branches.
