To mark the GCC Traffic Week 2024 under the slogan (driving without a phone), the General Directorate of Traffic in association with the University of Bahrain UoB held a traffic forum. Present were Deputy Director General of Traffic Brigadier Mohammed Ali Darraj, Dean of Students Affairs at the Uob, educational and administrative faculties and students.
The causes of traffic accidents, their consequences, and the harm of using the phone while driving were discussed by a number of legal, psychological and health specialists.
On the sidelines of the forum, a traffic exhibition was held showing historical pictures of the General Directorate of Traffic, and the stages of development of traffic work to achieve road safety and the modern technologies used, in addition to the participation of the Police Music Band and a display of old and modern patrols.
