The Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) and Head of Maan (together) against violence and addiction, Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, received Director of Maan, Ali Ameeni.
The programme, which is part of the initiatives of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Nationalism, obtained the Maan Regional Centre for Research and Training accreditation certificate from an International Foundation in the United Kingdom, which specialises in psychometric tests and personal abilities (IQ), as it is the first government agency in of Bahrain to obtain such certificate.
The Undersecretary said that the accomplishment was part of the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to promote the workforce's skills to meet the government policy and the goals of the economic vision 2050.
The accreditation certificate will enable the programme administration to apply its criteria to new candidates before selecting them as teachers, in addition to the possibility of all employees of the Ministry of Interior participating in all types of tests provided by the regional centre.
