The Interior Ministry Undersecretary, Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, visited the Reformation and Rehabilitation Centre in Jua. He met the Director-General of Reformation and Rehabilitation, Brigadier Abdulsalam Al Oraifi and officials.
He was briefed on rehabilitation and education programmes for inmates and Ramadan activities, including religious, cultural and sports events.
He thanked all the directorate’s affiliates for their efforts in carrying out tasks to provide the best services for inmates out of the commitment to protect the rights of inmates to rehabilitate and integrate them into society.
He highlighted the dedication of the Interior Ministry to enable inmates to perform their religious rituals during Ramadan in a safe and healthy environment and providing them with enough time for worshipping.
