Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, praised the efforts of General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, on achieving the goals of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Nationalism "Bahrainouna", marking the celebration of Community Partnership Day on March 18.
The speaker emphasised the importance of consolidating the values of patriotism, community partnership, and promotion of national culture, and respect for the law under the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Al Musallam commended the efforts of the loyal ministry's officials and Bahraini citizens in fostering security and stability, as well as implementing projects, initiatives, and programmes that go in line with the kingdom's humanitarian efforts to protect human rights and advance the community work system.
He emphasised the achievements of the Anti-Violence and Addiction Programme "Maan" (Together), underscoring the set of principles of peaceful coexistence, countering extremism, cybersecurity regulations, and innovative approaches like alternative punishments and open prisons. These initiatives have significantly advanced the criminal justice system, fostering human rights promotion.
The speaker affirmed the legislative branch's support for all national programmes that promote patriotism rooted in societal customs and traditions, as well as raising awareness about the significance of preserving these values and passing them down to future generations.
