Interior Ministry Undersecretary Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa received Chairman of the National Institute for Human Rights (NIHR), Eng. Ali Ahmed Alderazi. The Director-General of Reformation and Rehabilitation, Brigadier Abdulsalam Al Oraifi and Assistant Undersecretary for Legal Affairs, Brigadier Hamood Saad Hamood attended.
The Undersecretary highlighted NIHR's role in implementing and reinforcing national human rights plans. Both sides reviewed topics of common interest.
NIHR Chairman expressed thanks and appreciation to the Undersecretary for his dedication to promoting coordination and cooperation.
The Head of the Reformation and Rehabilitation Centre for Inmates, Major Hisham Ibrahim and the Head of the NIHR Committee on Visiting Detention Places and Facilities, Malallah Jaffar Al-Hammadi, attended the meeting.
