The General Directorate of Civil Defence continues its Ramadan awareness campaigns to promote safety. The awareness focused on the reasons behind home fires.
The awareness team has visited shopping malls to highlight safety instructions, including smoke detection devices, fire extinguishers, and good cooking ventilation. Supervising children and carrying out periodic maintenance for wiring and electrical appliances is also essential.
The campaigns will continue to cover Ramadan Majalis, tents, residential areas and traditional coffee shops.
